2024 High School All State Select Championship (2025-2026 Grads)
Steven Serna is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends Eastwood. Big and strong build. Works exclusively from the stretch from the first base side of the rubber, has a 3/4's arm action and will drop a bit lower at times, tall and fall mechanics that can get more drive out of his strong lower half, repeats his delivery well and has some arm speed. Fastball topped out at 83 mph with some carry up in the zone and some cutting action glove side, more velocity there with adjustments. Slider has potential, gets some depth with good shape but tends to slow his arm on the pitch. Flashed a change with some fading action and better arm speed. Has more in the tank and has topped out at 85-87 mph at PG events before. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
