Tyler Galloway is a 2023 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Leesburg, VA who attends Heritage. Nice athletic build with long, lean frame and ample time to add overall physicality, Ran the 60 yard dash in an outstanding 6.76 seconds. Primary position OF, working to the ball well and using active feet to allow for transition. Fielded the ball off to side using deep funnel and clean transfer before getting in line nicely to deliver throws. Excellent carry and solid accuracy on throws that reached 88 mph from the field. Also took reps on IF. RHH working from a tall, upright stance that is slightly open and a high hand set to start. Steep approach to contact due to hand position but when on plane there was loud contact. Hand speed is present and there is real projectable power. Good loft gap to gap and showed extra base power in game competition as well. Inside the ball, middle of the field approach was evident and will play up the line. Secondary RHP working from the stretch exclusively setting hands at the chest and working into a classic arm circle with medium depth. He loads his arm well and accelerates through a 3/4 arm angle getting significant energy from his core. Gets good direction from his glove side and reached release point with excellent regularity. FB showed explosive life as it peaked at 85 mph. Difference making SL with abrupt bite in the low-70's with very good 2,300+ rpms and flashed a solid CH in the mid-70's with depth and arm side run. Threw an IMMACULATE inning in game with 3 Ks on only 9 pitches. Extremely advanced in the classroom and is a legitimate two-way talent at the next level.
