Noah O'Farrell is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Oak Ridge. Slender athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Two way prospect who might have a higher ceiling on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from an open front side and never closes his hips, hand drop load, loose extended swing, fluid and extended out front, has some present bat speed and some whip to the barrel, consistent timing. 7.14 runner, arm works well in the infield, fields the ball out front with soft hands, has a nice exchange and release on the move. Showed his arm strength very well on the mound, on line arm action that hides the ball well, 3/4's arm slot, simple and controlled overall mechanics. Fastball topped out at 89 mph and he commanded it well to both sides of the plate. Slurve type breaking ball had late bite and generated lots of swing and miss, sweeping 10/4 shape. Good student. Named to the South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
