Clay Russin is a 2022 1B/3B with a 6-4 218 lb. frame from Sarasota, FL who attends Riverview. Ran a 6.94 second 60-yard dash. Extra-large frame with present strength throughout. Primary corner-infielder, worked out in the infield with deliberate actions to the ball, hands work well in receiving with a longer funnel to release, clean arm action on accurate throws across with feel for adjusting slots effectively. Right-hand hitter, uses strength well into the swing generating great bat speed on a direct and level path that creates consistently hard-hit line drive contact to the middle and pull side. Will improve overall offensive results as he lifts the ball a bit more consistently. Good student.
