Peter Hrousis is a 2023 1B/RHP with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Bethlehem, PA who attends Bethlehem Catholic. Big and strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread straight stance with a high hand load, has a simple load and timer and repeats his mechanics well, line drive swing plane with natural power due to his hand strength and bat speed, showed well in the games with the bat. 8.14 runner in the sixty. Has solid actions at first base defensively, turns well and gets rid of the ball quickly, nice arm strength for the position. Also pitched, busy mechanics with lots exaggerated actions, works anywhere from 3/4's to low 3/4's on his arm slot. Worked mostly in the 82-84 mph range with his fastball and got good sinking action down in the zone, also threw a hard slider with good arm speed with a short break. Chance to contribute on the mound with his arm strength if he can simplify his delivery. Excellent student.
