Matt Travisano is a 2022 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Carlisle, MA who attends Noble And Greenough. Recorded a 6.81 second 60-yd dash time. High waisted, athletic frame with room to fill out. Primary shortstop with good footwork and soft hands. Arm strength is present ands recorded up to 86 mph across the diamond. Exhibits clean funnel, quick twitch actions and feel for the position. Secondary right-handed pitcher that was impressive in his outing. Displayed smooth, simple operation with a short, compact arm action and come right at you mentality. Low effort and easy velocity that sat mid-80s during entirety of outing, topping at 87 mph. Repeatable mechanics with excellent lower half usage and extension out in front, created heavy arm side run with fastball, while mixing in a faded changeup with plus depth and tilt. Right-handed hitter with a controlled short stroke, quick hands and projectable pull-side power. Repeatable swing mechanics carried over to game play, resulting in consistent loud contact.
