Skyler Self is a 2021 3B/UT with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Fellows, CA who attends Taft Union. Medium frame with a lean build showing some strength in the lower half. Ran a 6.99 second sixty yard dash. Primary Third Baseman, does a good job of staying low and athletic into the baseball as he rounds it well. Scoops it up and then slows momentum down as he makes sure of a clean transfer. Arm strength showing as he threw it 80 mph with accuracy during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting narrow and closed off with the front side. Works into separation as the hands sink a bit. Flashed an uphill swing path as he looked to pull it for power. Shows strength in hands and had some pop when he found the barrel. Good Student.
