Christian Noel De Leon Ahorrio is a 2020 C with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Arecibo, PR who attends Doctora Maria Cadilla De Martinez. Medium athletic build, strong lower half with room to get stronger. 7.33 runner, sets up low and flexible behind the plate, game actions in drills, very good fundamental footwork on his shifting and throwing, receives the ball cleanly, raw arm strength plays up due to his strong fundamentals and athleticism. Right handed hitter, high hand/high back elbow swing set up, downward swing path, showed some hand quickness and strength when he was able to turn on the ball, swing approach orients him more to an opposite field approach, has the tools and athleticism to keep improving as a hitter. Very good student.
