Tyler Simmons is a 2025 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Falmouth, ME who attends Falmouth. Extra tall young athletic build with good strength for his age. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow slightly open stance with a low hand start, inconsistent double toe tap load can get him mistimed, starts his hands low and creates an uphill lifting swing and gets into his lower half well to drive his bat speed, showed plenty of pull side juice when he was on time, has power and hitting tools to develop with adjustments and physical maturity. Primary first baseman on defense, has a good idea on his footwork and makes accurate throws. Took a turn on the mound, has a simple and compact delivery with a short stride out front, can more of his lower half and front side into his delivery. Fastball topped out at 73 mph, mostly straight. Showed nice feel for his change up as his second pitch, did not throw a breaking ball. Bat is his tool. Good student.
