2020 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Patrick Dalton is a 2021 RHP/3B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Bethpage, NY who attends Bethpage Senior School. Recorded a 6.84 second 60-yard dash time. Lean frame with athleticism present and room to fill out. Primary righthanded pitcher with a simple rocker step through the balance point. Short, compact arm stroke. Low, deep hand break with a high three-quarters arm slot. Effort at release with a strong front side through release. Heavy, sinking life on the fastball that topped out at 82 mph. Short, tight curveball with late break that racks up whiffs. Attacks the zone with the fastball and commands both sides of the plate. Arm strength plays nicely at secondary position of infield. Lefthanded hitter with a slightly open stance and tucked hand set. Hips fire well with some barrel ability to both gaps. Has some strength when squared. Tremendous student. Named to the 2020 Mid-Atlantic Indoor TP List.
