Joseph Kelly is a 2021 C/IF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Clayton, NC who attends Neuse Charter. Tall athletic build with good strength potential. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with an upper body dominant swing, downward swing plane, works counts well and flashed some hand quickness to adjust to pitches, middle of the field line drive approach. 7.61 runner, has simple and repeatable catching mechanics behind the plate, makes accurate throws with some developing arm strength, has caught a lot and shows confidence behind the plate defensively. Excellent student.
