Jake Voynar is a 2023 SS/IF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Royersford, PA who attends The Hill. Voynar immediately impressed by running a 4.91 forty yard dash, putting the athleticism and raw speed on display from a medium build with projection. The natural quickness carried over to the IF where Voynar flashed range up the middle with arm strength present across the diamond up to 83 mph. Expect the glove to continue to refine in the future. On the mound, the righty used slower controlled mechanics and a compact 3/4 slot to touch 79 mph. He sequenced both a curveball with some sweeping movement as well as a changeup that generated weak contact out in front. At the plate, Voynar remained balanced in the approach with the ability to get the barrel out in front and generate solid contact with carry. He displayed a nice launch angle and has plenty of power in the lower half, posting an exit velo of 90 mph. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
