Jonathan Burn is a 2021 SS/2B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Wiggins, MS who attends Stone. Large frame with an athletic, lean build proving to have some room to fill out physically. Upper half strength present. Ran a 7.15 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, works with a great first step and moves cleanly around the baseball. Glove showing well as he scoops the baseball up and shuffles into throws. Quick release with accuracy to the bag as he threw it 84 mph across the diamond during drills. Shows feel for the position and projects here. Right-Handed Hitter, spread out stance to start and then works into a slight weight transfer. Linear swing path as he covers all parts of the plate. Proved he can spray the baseball to all fields. Quick hands as he throws hands at the baseball. Proved he can backspin the baseball and drive it for some power to the pull-side. Outstanding Student.
