Joseph Contreras is a 2026 RHP with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Blessed Trinity Catholic. Outstanding athletic build, long arms and legs, looks taller on the mound, very projectable physically. Throws from a high 3/4's arm slot with big downhill angle to the plate. Fastball topped out at 98 mph and sat in the mid-90's, lots of weak ground ball contact against the fastball. Short breaking action on the slider, have seen the slider with more depth, also flashed a split finger change. Son of 11-year MLB pitcher Jose Contreras. High ceiling prospect. Excellent student. Named to play in the 2025 Perfect Game All-American Classic
