Louis Hernandez is a 2026 SS/3B with a 6-5 204 lb. frame from Sanford, FL who attends Lake Mary. Long and lean athletic build, very projectable physically. Right handed hitter, sets up in an upright stance with a inward toe tap timer into his stride, simple swing mechanics, some loft in his swing path, has easy strength and power, was timed up in the games with consistent barrel contact, high ceiling as a hitter as he continues to get stronger. Outstanding runner for his size, 6.43 in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, moves well side to side, easy arm with big carry on his throws, quick hands/glove fielding the ball. Athleticism shows in all his actions. Outstanding student. Verbal commitment to Clemson. Selected to play in the 2025 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
