Ashton Alston is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-6 200 lb. frame from Gallatin, TN who attends Christian Community Schools. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. High leg raise delivery with a long high arm action, high 3/4's arm slot, has some energy at release, pulls downhill hard through release. Fastball worked in the low 90's and topped out at 94 mph, some cross body action when going to the glove side but gets it there, has some carry up in the zone. Has good spin on an upper 70's breaking ball, still developing feel for the release point, gets 12/6 shape at times and big sweeping life at others. High ceiling arm that is still developing consistency. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Alabama.
