Leonardo Beltran is a 2022 C/IF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends Coral Springs Charter School. Recorded a 7.63 second 60-yard dash time. Physical build with well-proportioned strength throughout. Primary catcher with a short, quick arm stroke and uphill release. Arm strength plays very well with excellent catch-and-throw skills resulting in a best pop time of 1.84 seconds. Righthanded hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Full swing path with an aggressive lower half shift. Shows very good strength through impact with high ceiling power given how hard he hits the ball. Tremendous student.
