Luke Adams is a 2022 3B/1B/OF with a 6-4 211 lb. frame from Hinsdale, IL who attends Hinsdale Central. Extra-large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 6.65 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, takes shorter steps moving towards the ball and fields it out front, some bend at waist, compact arm action through the back, lower slot on throws and shows accuracy across the diamond. Graded out best in the outfield at this look, moves well on feet, works to a higher slot on throws and shows accuracy and big arm strength on throws, attacks the ball well, stays short through the back with throws, works on top of the ball nicely. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open and upright stance; utilizes a hand pump at start of swing, plenty of intent in approach and looks to impact the ball at point of contact. Bat speed stands out through the zone, creates real leverage out front with jump off of the barrel, occasionally gets under the ball, shows comfort working to the pull side, full stroke through the zone.
