Nick Costa is a 2026 OF/1B with a 6-4 230 lb. frame from Mullica Hill, NJ who attends St. Augustine Preparatory. Works from a sturdy extra large frame with strength and athleticism present throughout. Primary outfielder, takes quick routes to the baseball and works through it well. Transfer is a bit lengthy, breaks into a compact arm path. Recorded arm strength up to 79 mph. Secondary first baseman, got the glove down on-time and made quality turns. Displayed quick transfers and worked into a shorter arm stroke. Delivered accurate throws and recorded arm strength up to 77 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter, starts with high and tight hands and utilizes a toe-tap trigger into launch. Works into a lofted stroke and creates tons of strength at impact, primarily to the pull-side. Intriguing power tool. Recorded an exit velocity of 90 mph. Ran a 6.82 sixty-yard dash. Great student. Named to the 2024 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase (Sat.) Top Prospect List.
