Josh Chandler is a 2019 OF/ with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Endicott, NY who attends Maine-Endwell Senior. Small and well built frame with strength proportioned nicely throughout, square shoulders. Primary outfielder, long and quick strides to the baseball, upright fielding position, should work on breaking down at gather and bending more at the knees, loads up into throws with a crow hop, releases with effort, compact arm action with average arm strength, carry to throws topping out at 82 mph from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, even stance with a high hand set and high back elbow, compact swing with rotational actions, generates good bat speed from strength in swing, could utilize lower half more into swing with a good weight transfer for even more pop off of the barrel, hard jump when barreled mostly middle to pull side. Good student.
