Corwin Hemmingsen is a 2022 C/3B with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Cave Creek, AZ who attends Brophy College Prep. Recorded a 7.81 second 60 yard dash time. Primary catcher with athleticism and quickness to his actions, shows present arm strength and smooth feet. Sound set up and low profile, gains ground towards second base, quick and short trigger with accurate throws. Impressive 1.98 second pop time at 74 mph. Took a turn on the mound, decent length to the frame with a simple and controlled delivery. Small arm circle in the back with present arm speed, comes from a three-quarters slot. Fastball shows arm side life, has a sharp 11-5 curveball. Right-handed hitter, very short path, rips the hands through with extension out front. Gap to gap approach with solid contact, tends to hit a bit inside the ball, can produce loud impact to the pull side if he gets the barrel turned over. Raw power and strength with great potential.
