2024 Fall Top Prospect National Showcase
Brody James is a 2026 RHP/INF with an athletic 5-11 192 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Desert Mountain HS. Started off the event clocking a 6.76 60-yard dash. A primary pitcher, secondary infielder. Utilizes a full wind-up delivery with some hesitations and pauses from the middle of the rubber with a belt-high leg lift. Displays drop/drive mechanics as he breaks the hands at the chest. Separates into a shallow arm path and releases the baseball from a clean, high 3/4 slot. Generates power through his lower-half and carries his momentum well downhill. Stays inline and finishes over his front-side. Fastball showed arm-side run and sink, ultimately peaking at 89 mph. Mixed in a curveball and a fading changeup to mistime hitters. Solid outing. Excellent student. Named to the Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
