Andres Urdaneta is a 2019 RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Christopher Columbus HS. Tall athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Pretty simple turn and throw delivery, long arm circle in back coming to a high 3/4's arm slot, has good direction to his delivery with a calm tempo and release. Low 80's fastball, mostly straight with good downhill angle, works his fastball to spots well. Showed a good curveball once he got feel for getting on top of hit and landed it for strikes with some spin and depth. Filled up the zone and pitched to contact, was very effective.
