Nick Meyer is a 2020 LHP with a 6-6 170 lb. frame from Littleton, CO who attends Valor Christian. Extra long and lanky build, very projectable physically. Has a 3/4's arm slot with very good extension out front, low effort delivery and maintains his balance well, can use his lower half more to help create velocity, ball comes out his hand clean. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, ball gets on hitter's quickly due his deceptive ease throwing and his extended release point. Slider is a solid pitch with tight spin and good late biting action. Slows a bit on his change up but has good feel for the pitch. Can pitch inside to both left and right handed hitters and will throw his slider effectively to both side hitters as well, misses barrels and was very effective. Has a chance to keep picking up velocity and already has three solid pitches. Follow closely for strength and velocity gains. Good student.
