Connor McAuley is a 2021 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Haymarket, VA who attends Battlefield. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 40 yard dash in 5.48 seconds. Primary lefthanded pitcher, low effort delivery, stays compact throughout, uses lower half well, loose arm stroke with quickness to it, fastball worked 77-79 mph with very good command, flashed very good changeup with big late drop, good upside. Hits from open stance with toe tap trigger, simple and repeatable swing, consistent connection through linear stroke, lots of firm contact. Worked out in the outfield, crossfire release over front side with limited leverage to arm stroke, clocked up to 76 mph on throws. Good student.
