Ashton Larson is a 2023 OF/1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends St. Thomas Aquinas. Young athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance with an easy flow into his swing, fluid and smooth swing with good extension through the ball, stays inside and works the barrel through the zone well with contact to all fields, showed big power when he opened up and looked to pull the ball, very projectable swing. Ran a 6.96 at the Junior National Showcase. Has easy athletic actions in the outfield, confident glove actions, makes accurate on line throws. Excellent student. Named to the PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.
