Arlo Marynczak is a 2018 RHP/1B with a 6-7 220 lb. frame from Delmar, NY who attends Bethlehem Central Senior. XL frame with very good present build; good strength as well as projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.51 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher; long and loose arm action that gets offline through the back, deceptive delivery with lots of moving parts, stays online with hips through drive, gets to three quarters slot and creates angle. Fastball worked 79-83 mph with very good extension through release, gets to bottom of the zone consistently and pounds strikes. Showed curveball with gradual depth and shape; lands it for strikes. Very good overall command. Sets up to hit from spread-out, open stance with high back elbow, leans back, creates separation. Good strength in swing, uphill plane, has power to the pull field. Named to 2017 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List; very good student.
