Charlie Wright is a 2018 MIF/3B/RHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends Lakeside HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build; body projects well moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.01 seconds. Switch-hitter, showed good barrel feel from both sides. Open stance from both sides with bent knee, short/compact stroke with some strength off the barrel when timed up. Took a better BP from the right side; but swung it lefthanded very well in game. Capable of working to both gaps from both sides. Worked out defensively in the infield, fields cleanly with two hands and shows quality footwork to and through the ball, quick release across the diamond clocked up to 75 MPH. Graded out highest as a RHP, easy delivery with good direction, lands online and gets downhill well. Compact arm stroke, throws from mid-three quarters arm slot, fastball worked 78-82 MPH with good arm side life. Good command of FB, worked up and down at will. Showed curveball with 11/5 shape and quality depth; also flashed changeup with some fade. Very efficient outing on the mound. Good student.
