Michael McCluskey is a 2018 RHP/C with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Virginia Beach, VA who attends Tallwood. Medium build, athletic frame with some strength present. Ran a 7.36 60 yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, short side step into delivery to a high leg lift, compact delivery, long arm action to an over the top arm slot, short stride to the plate. fastball sat in the mid-70s, mixed in a curveball that showed the same release as the fastball and 12-to-6 downward action. Also took reps at catcher, lower set receiving out in front, full arm action getting on top of the baseball, 2.07 best pop. Righthanded hitter, wide base, high back elbow, toe tap trigger, inside swing path with an uphill barrel plane, looks to lift with some ability to do so, displayed some hard contact in round. Good student.
