Kevin RisCassi is a 2022 C/2B/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends Bishop Verot. Medium frame with an athletic build. Primary catcher with a slightly taller, side set stance while receiving the baseball. Gains ground towards the bag with quick paced footwork. Clean, quick glove circle at exchange and released from a compact three-quarters arm slot. Throws produced some carry with developing accuracy topping at 69 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 2.08. Left handed hitter with an upright, open stance and simple front side trigger. Stays balanced and worked to contact with rotational lower half actions. Clean hand path to baseball with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Flashed feel for the barrel while primarily employing a mid field approach. Showed the barrel control to keep hands inside and work the other way as well. Very good student.
