Talan Bell is a 2024 LHP/1B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Oviedo, FL who attends Hagerty HS. Recorded a 6.88 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic frame with wiry strength and really fluid movements. Primary left-handed pitcher with a hands over head delivery and a clean arm action through the back. Lots of arm side run on the fastball and competes in the zone with the pitch. Changeup gets a ton of fading action and can throw to hitters of either handedness. Lands slider well with good shape, also showed a curveball. Pounded strikes with all pitches and has a bulldog mentality. Arm strength also plays from secondary position of the outfield. Left-handed hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Comes off well when squared and has a simple swing with good lift out in front. Very solid two-way tools overall. Verbal commitment to Clemson. Great student. Named to the 2023 PG All-American Classic.
