John Huelskamp is a 2019 C/UT with a 5-9 190 lb. frame from Moreno Valley, CA who attends Rancho Verde HS. Compact strong build. Has short and compact actions behind the plate, sound footwork with good direction in his footwork, has some arm strength and makes accurate throws, pretty polished in his overall catching actions. Right handed hitter, deep still hand load in back with a big shift into contact, direct and pretty short swing path, has good hand strength and can get the ball to jump well, pull to mid field contact with some pop. Solid all around player. Good student.
