Aaron Limon is a 2021 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Peoria, AZ who attends Liberty HS. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulder and present strength to frame with additional room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.17 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows short steps moving towards the ball and fields it out front, quick transfer and release from a tight and compact arm slot, gets on top of throws and shows accuracy across, balance to actions while on the charge. Also pitched, quick tempo to delivery with balance, fast and short arm action through the back working to a high three-quarters release. Able to generate plane on fastball, topped out at 81 mph with occasional sink down in the zone. Sound mechanics, shows potential with curveball, flashed sharp bite, will occasionally drop arm slot at release. Also showed changeup with fade at 72 mph. Righthanded hitter, begins with a narrow and slightly open stance, medium hand set and high back elbow at the plate. Shows a simple swing with rhythm to timing triggers, creates contact out front. Looks to create leverage and put the ball in the air, able to work all fields and repeats swing well utilizing physical strength. Very good student.
