Travis Bicknell is a 2018 1B/ with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Longmont, CO who attends Silver Creek. Bicknell has a medium sized frame with some thickness and strength. Defensively he worked through the ball at 1B with clean transfers. He showed developing feel around the bag and threw accurately across the diamond. He also worked out from the outfield and showed developing footwork and actions. At the plate, Bicknell starts with an upright open stance and uses a big leg lift. He drifts into his load and has a rotational lower half. He attacks the baseball out front and swings with intent. Bicknell showed some hand quickness and some bat speed. He looks to lift the baseball and gets some jump off his bat when it's squared up. Bicknell showed some power potential and some strength in his swing. Good student.
