Max Moore is a 2019 C with a 5-11 205 lb. frame from Oakdale, CA who attends Oakdale HS. Big and strong athletic build, retains his quickness and looseness well to go with his strength. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance, swings hard and creates bat speed, good swing plane to create back spin and carry on the ball, has power potential, ball jumps when he squares it up, mid field to pull side contact. Has compact actions behind the plate and solid footwork and throwing fundamentals, is very quick out of the crouch, makes accurate throws, 1.91 best pop time, repeats his mechanics and looks like he's had plenty of repetitions. Has the tools to catch at the next level and the strength to hit. Very good student.
