Tanner Bray is a 2020 2B/IF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Winston-Salem, NC who attends Glenn HS. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger, projects physically. 7.39 runner, has very soft and quick hands in the infield defensively, gets rid of the ball very quickly and with carry, higher arm slot than usual for a second baseman, can likely play all over the infield effectively. Right handed hitter, has a sound swing with a good shift into contact, short line drive swing path, stays fluid through the ball, mid field to pull side contact, high contact swing, key to his hitting development will be getting stronger. Also pitched, has a short and quick arm stroke on the mound from a high 3/4's arm slot, works quickly and attacks hitters. Fastball topped out at 84 mph early, showed a very good ability to command the glove side corner and spot the ball. Slurve type breaking ball with some 10/4 tilt and depth at times. Strike thrower. Good student.
