Benjamin Mlavsky is a 2019 RHP/3B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Framingham, MA who attends Dexter. Large frame with strong, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.34 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, compact arm stroke through the back, lands firmly, simple and repeatable delivery, short stride, solid arm speed, throws from high three quarters slot and creates plane, fastball worked 80-82 mph and peaked at 84 mph with some life to it, worked in curveball beginnings of sharpness, also flashed changeup, threw a good amount of strikes. Hits from open, narrow-based stance, minimal hand load, leg lift trigger, very compact hand path, quick out of the zone. Worked out in the infield, shows athleticism to footwork, comes in on ball well, sidearm release, clocked up to 82 mph across the diamond. Excellent student, named to 2018 Northeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
