Matt Brinker is a 2022 C/OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Norfolk, MA who attends Xaverian Brothers. Medium frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.36 seconds. Hits from slightly open, staggered stance with narrow base, low back elbow, hands set next to shoulder, gets into lower half well, middle-field approach on a line drive plane with solid barrel skills, showed the ability to make consistent contact to all fields, projects well with the bat. Worked out behind the plate, slight side saddle, sits back in set, receives well, stands up to throw some, quickness and smoothness to transfer, projectable catching tools, clocked up to 70 mph on throws with best pop time of 2.14 seconds. Excellent student.
