Cole Meyer is a 2021 OF/MIF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Savannah, GA who attends The Savannah Country Day. Medium and athletic frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 6.71 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, worked out in the outfield with effort to his actions, moves to the baseball quickly, takes his arm back to a long arm action up to a low arm slot at release, showed average arm strength during drills topping out at 80 mph from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a square stance and a high hand set, stays balanced with his stance and his load, strides into contact with a leg lift trigger used for timing as well, shifts well into contact generating a line drive swing path through the hitting zone, creates bat speed and a gap to gap approach. Good student.
