Eli Burwash is a 2021 SS/RHP, 2B, OF, 3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Bowling Green, KY who attends Bowling Green HS. Recorded a 7.20 second 60-yard dash time. Medium, athletic frame with lots of room to project. Primary shortstop who attacks the ball with quick feet. Fields out in front with a clean funnel to the throwing hand and solid fundamentals; arm strength recorded up to 79 mph across the infield. Secondary righthanded pitcher who has good direction down the mound. Bit mechanical of a delivery and finishes through the catcher well. Short arm stroke with an over the top release point. Fastball has good arm side run and curveball was a very effective secondary offering with tight spin and lots of 12/6 depth. Filled up the strike zone with a low effort delivery. Righthanded hitter with a big leg lift trigger going forward and the hands stay back nicely. Direct path to contact and an upper half dominant swing. Gap to gap approach and makes contact out in front well. Good student.
