Ethan Grover is a 2022 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Blountstown, FL who attends Liberty County. A primary right-handed pitcher with a large frame. On the mound he worked form the stretch only with a lower arm slot producing good movement on the mid to upper 80's fastball topping out at 89 mph on this occasion. He used the lower half well getting into the back leg to drive down the mound and braking with a stiff front side, he showed a spike curveball in the with 11-5 shape but the changeup proved to be the better secondary fitting the arm slot more naturally and showing later fashion action in the mid 70's. The fastball will be the carrying pitch as he can rely on velocity and movement to miss bat moving forward. Verbal commitment to Princeton. Very good student.
