Dominic Elam is a 2022 C/3B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Union Grove. Medium frame with a physical build showing broad shoulders and a sturdy lower half. Ran a 7.53 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting down in his stance as he proved to be flexible in the legs. Feel for receiving the baseball showing in games. Gains ground on throw downs and proved he could be consistent with quick transfers. Accurate to the bag as he recorded a pop time of 2.07 seconds. Instincts showing and projects here going forward. Right-Handed Hitter, starting spread out with active hands. Short lift to stride as he fires the hands while staying linear through the zone. Proved he could find the barrel and when he got extended, the baseball jumped off the bat. Power to the middle of the field present. Good Student.
