Oscar Murray is a 2018 C/ with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Brentwood, CA who attends Heritage HS. Has a medium frame, lean build with some size, more to come as he continues to put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.13 second sixty yard dash. From behind the plate, starts in a low setup, has quick actions and footwork, quick release following transfer with accurate throws down to second base popping as low as 1.90 seconds down to second base. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a squared stance, high hand set, and leg lift trigger. Quick hands at the plate, swings on a level plane and is short to the baseball, even more loud contact to come as timing further develops. Good student. Named to 2016 NorCal Top Prospect List.
