Santino Rosso is a 2019 SS/2B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Victor, NY who attends Victor Senior High School. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and nice physical strength proportioned well throughout frame. Ran a 5.09 40-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, shows athleticism to actions with bounce in step, stays low fielding and working through the ball, soft hands out front play well, clean exchange and gets on top of throws, shows carry across the diamond with accuracy. Switch-hitter, display a nice feel from both sides. Begins with an open stance and a high hand set and back elbow from the right side; short stroke and handles the barrel well, slight uphill to plane but squared the ball well and worked the middle of the field, most feel from right side at present. Similar stance from left side, shows barrel skill and balance to swing, more lift lefthanded, steady barrel contact and loose swing. Very good student.
