Xander Rojahn is a 2019 RHP/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Elk Grove Village, IL who attends Elk Grove HS. Has a medium frame, lean build, plenty of room to continue to fill out physically as he puts on additional muscle. Delivery begins with hands over the head, continues with clean mechanics and good leg drive through the zone. Throws from a three-quarter arm slot with compact arm action through the back. Works down in the zone. Fastball has some natural cutting action, curveball shows good break. Consistently commands both pitches well down in the strike zone. Has the signs and projection to develop nicely on the mound. At the plate, starts with a wide base and a stride into load. Has a full swing, solid weight transfer from lower half. Middle of the field to pull side approach, solid bat speed and balance. Interesting young player. Good student.
