Austin Prichard is a 2017 SS/C, 2B, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Hendersonville, NC who attends Carolina Day High School. Medium, athletic build with a frame that has room to fill with physical maturity. Posted an impressive 6.84 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, got in a good position to throw with range up the middle and a quick first step with a top velocity of 82 mph. Also worked out behind the plate, showed a strong arm with developing receiving skills with a velocity of 80 mph. At the plate,started with a wide base and a high hand set. Showed some bat speed with good torque through his lower half. Good student.
