Casey Fernandes is a 2018 RHP/1B with a 6-6 240 lb. frame from Hanover, MA who attends Rising Tide. XL frame with very good strength and overall physicality. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.13 seconds. Righthanded pitcher; long arm action with deep wrap through the back, online delivery with good drive off of backside, gets downhill well and repeats. Throws from three quarters slot, fastball worked 80-82 mph with good arm side run, good command of fastball to both sides. Showed slider with tight, late break; good tilting action, also worked in changeup with late drop at the plate--overall good feel for both secondaries. Showed ability to command the zone with three offerings. Good student.
