Arlind Hima is a 2019 OF/RHP, SS with a 6-0 162 lb. frame from Shelton, CT who attends Shelton. Medium build, lean frame that projects nicely, more room to fill with added strength. Ran a 4.95 second 40 yard dash. Primary outfielder, attacks baseball coming through it well, some extra steps at release with a clean exchange, crow hops and clears the front side for the arm to work through, full and clean arm action into throws getting on top nicely, good arm strength with carry to the bag, smooth finish following through, topped out at 86 mph from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, wide base with a high hand set and a high back elbow, double toe tap trigger, short hand path to the baseball, linear path to contact, gets rotational with swing at times, steady contact off of the barrel working mostly towards the middle of the field, could improve on ball to barrel skills for added pop. Outstanding student.
