Ty Mygrants is a 2019 SS with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Stow, OH who attends Woodridge HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.66 seconds. Hits from crouched stance with wider base, shifts well into contact and swings the bat with intent, has quickness and rhythm to stroke, whole-field approach on line drive swing plane, showed good timing skills with consistently barreled contact. Primary shortstop, shows athleticism to actions and footwork, moves in on ball, fields clean and shows quick release across, clocked up to 78 mph. Also took outfield reps, has athleticism through actions, comes in on ball well and maintains balance, clocked up to 80 mph on throws. Excellent student.
