Grant Roosma is a 2019 C/3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Westlake HS. Recorded a 7.48 second 60-yard dash time. Strong present frame with broad shoulders and well-proportioned size. Primary catcher who receives with two hands and has a quick, smooth exchange. Higher release with good footwork and accurate throws down to the bag. Switch hitter who graded out best from the left side. Quick hands with a spread open stance. Rocks into swing with good rhythm and swings hard while utilizing the whole field. Compact through the path, though the righthanded swing has more length. Worked mostly to all fields and flashed some bat speed when on plane. Good student.
